dear ****,

been a really long time huh. of course, i miss you all the more. especially now that rather important things happen to me [for me, hehe =)] so fast these days. i wish you were here or i was there and we could chat over coffee. or just walk around like we used to, under the UP sky and surrounded by the gigantic yet gentle trees at the oval.i'm waxing nostalgic, wanting to fly kites and resting my back against the unceasingly comforting green fields of diliman. oh well...

i wrote because i was afraid we'd end up not only being miles apart in heart and spirit as well. so, i'll try to say everything i could in this letter.

first, of course you've seen my hubby and baby. they are my heart's delight. now i find more reason to defer to god's wisdom with respect to every and any thing in the world. i find more causes for believing and having faith, because being blessed and having to take care of a family gives one no other option.it might seem all abstract--how i feel- but in reality i'm swimming in millions of details of happiness and fulfillment ,and images of promise and exuberance. it is sad that i cannot hug you...for i know that once i embrace you, you will feel not only how much i've missed you but also how loved i have been by my better half and how willingly i have loved him back lately. it's sadder that you couldn't exchange kisses with my baby who so charmingly shares his halo of joy and sunshine. but we will all be able to meet soon, me and my family and you and your husband.

next, i'm proud to tell you that i feel like the world is in my hands. this despite the fact that i've chosen not to be employed full time for at least a year. i've come from a really hectic --and thankfully, meaningful- work year and i've had a lot of options thrown my way. the people i've worked with tell me i did good and that they appreciate not only my competence but also my work ethic. I STOPPED HERE. TOOK A PAUSE AND THEN LIVED LIFE. YOU HAVE PASSED ON and so many things have changed. I miss you still. You will always be one of the dearest friends I have had. Goodbye, Noelle. Goodbye.
